The worker's protection becomes more and more important in many factories. This goes particularly for the handling of caustic chemicals as e.g. caustic soda for the cleaning of bottles.
To dissolve the caustic soda, which is supplied in flakes, in water company Hormes supplies steel type dissolving tanks. The safe filling of caustic flake through a special dumping device on the tank has to be particularly pointed out. A self-cleaning flap prevents the escape of foaming caustic soda and protects the operator from injuries.
The standard design is available with a capacity of 3.000l. Apart from that there is also a version with a capacity of 5.000l available, alternatively with a worm conveyor to feed the dissolving tank.
The equipment of the dissolving tank comprises a discharge connection to the bottle washing machine as well as all necessary valves and pipings, motor and pump in a steel housing which is resistant to caustic, a level probe as well as a switch cabinet containing all necessary operating elements for the drive of the pump. As an option it is possible to integrate the pump into automatic caustic soda re-strengthening of the bottle washing machine.
The Hormes dissolving tank distinguishes itself by its simple operation and its compactness. We are looking forward to receiving your inquiry.
